Great album! Favorite track: Dead butterflies.

spawnofchaos By turns hopeful and oppressive, this is a fabulous atmospheric album that flirts with the darker side of metal and more ambient genres and styles. Favorite track: Pain is a Wasteland.
Metallurgical Fire

Metallurgical Fire I didn’t get the hype at first. I get it now. One of the most talented artists making music today. Any genre he tackles seems to fit. The title track here is a different kind of heavy, like an earthquake. Favorite track: Cruel words.

Mjölner I fell in love when I discovered the SLOW project ... no way back since then. When music goes beyond music.

about

When Déhà started making music under his own name "Déhà", he made sure to state that a lot of different music styles would be mixed. It showed on "Halo", a long experimental piano piece, and on "4 5 6", a highly acclaimed progressive post black metal album.

"Cruel Words" continues that path and is the musical embodiment of one kind of depression. Mixing elements of sludge doom and post rock, the album is impressively crushing, heavy, melodic and emotional, as one is used with Déhà's music.
